Samina’s practice focuses on drafting, filing and prosecuting PCT National Phase as well as conventional patent applications. She has expertise in reviewing inventions for patentability, understanding invention disclosures related to various technical domains particularly pharma, chemistry and biotechnology and determining novel and inventive features of inventions based on comparison with known prior art. Advising clients on various aspects related to Indian patent law and practice, Samina also assists in formulating strategy to overcome objections raised during examination of patent applications and preparing suitable responses to be filed at the Patent Office.
Her strong educational credentials equip her with valuable insights and skills into protecting the IP interests of her clients’ businesses. She is also a registered patent agent.
